If I had not already been loaned this item by my hairdresser I would not have bought it, having read the two adverse reviews. I do not have any problems with using the rollers, which stay in place,or using the electrical appliance to roll them. As I have long fine hair I use the lower setting, which is nicely warm, not cold or very hot. The higher setting is, obviously, hotter but again when I did use this I did not find it uncomfortably hot. I have used the product with both semi dry and completely dry hair and, again, have had no problems. I use the rollers prior to usual morning routine, ie teeth, make up, etc and by the time all of this has been completed the hair has cooled perfectly and ready for the rollers to be removed. I have also been able to purchase further rollers, which is an extra plus. I have nothing but praise for this excellent item.

rollers get tangles, burn fingers when putting new roller on, air blows out either red hot or stone cold very bad

No good to put in on your own. Should imagine if Nicky Clarke is doing it for you they might work better. Velcro rollers do not stay in very well. Very disappointed.
