this beaker just didn't work, 31 Aug. 2011

I think there must have been something wrong with this particular beaker as the other reviews I've read have been excellent. Bought it as I like soft silicone spouts and so does my son, however this one immediately creates a vaccum when sipped and the spout gets sucked into the beaker deforming the whole thing and making it very difficult to carry on drinking. Will probably try to get a different spout to fit this cup so I don't need to throw the whole thing away.

I bought two of these cups and the second one was a slightly different design. Unfortunately it leaked and was impractical. I mentioned this to the Seller and they immediately replaced the cup and sent an extra cup as a gesture of good will. All 3 cups are in constant use. The Seller is incredibly efficient and I would highly recommend

A god send for weaning from bottle to beaker!, 10 Dec. 2015

This NUBY beaker was a god send when we were trying to wean our boy from his bottles, he would not take any other bottle than this and I think it's down to the silicone top being so bottle-like. I'm convinced had we not found these he'd still be on a bottle now as he refused Vital Baby and Tommee Tippee! Eventually he did learn that if you squished the spout against something the liquid would come rushing out but that is to be expected really with a soft spout like this. It does say no spill and it is right up until they learn how to mess about with them, the similar NUBY Soft Touch beakers are much better at controlling the leak than these ones but they do still let a bit of water out once squished however as I said, this was the only beaker he'd happily take. I'm not sure why people are saying there's no lid as it definitely does come with one? See pic below. The only things that are a bit irritating are, the spout moved about when you screw the top to the base so you have to move...
