I am not a nurse but I needed a 2" wide belt just like this for my jeans! I have the classic 'apple' figure and although I have a very nice leather belt for my jeans, I find the buckle makes my 'apple' lumpy at the front and a firm leather belt isn't exactly comfortable when bending down to put your shoes on! This belt ticks all the boxes, not just for the no bulky knobbly bump sticking out from under the top bought to disguise the 'apple' figure, but also for a great comfortable wear, and it keeps my jeans up too.I bought the navy colour and the wine/burgundy colour belts. The navy belt is a perfect match for my jeans, both dark and stonewashed, and the wine/burgundy belt gives a nice contrast.I would recommend these belts to all 'apple' figures, you don't have to be a nurse to wear them.
