With a brand new baby on the way, I wanted a really good wipes dispenser for nappy changes as I hate fiddling about with packets, I always end up pulling out more than one and having to mess about trying to reseal the packet. All my friends in the United States recommended the OXO wipes dispenser, I read the many US reviews of them and it looked by far the best option (having read reviews of the many others available). I was gutted when I couldn't find them in the UK, in the end I paid to have one shipped into the UK. My husband thought I was crazy shipping a wipes dispenser, so much so I paid for it from my own account, rather than from the baby money pot.
Then all change as I had a c-section and he had to do all the nappy changes. He was so impressed with this dispenser he asked me to order a second one for downstairs. I was so relieved when I saw that amazon UK now sell them.

Awesome and amazing. Feel I have been waiting all my life for something as simple but useful as this.
I am a first time mother of twins. At time of writing they are 4 months old. I am also partially disabled - so EVERYTHING that helps on the labour-saving front is a godsend.
I bought one of these and found it superb. I take the whole lot of baby wipes out of the thin plastic wrapper that they come in, and pop them under the weight inside this box. The box itself is weighted and the lid has a smooth and reliable spring click. I use Tesco scent free baby wipes - you may use others. But it is important that the wipes are interleaved - that way each time you draw out one wipe another one is slightly standing up and ready for next time.
The box is well weighted. So when I am changing a baby, or holding one in one hand, I simply push with one finger on the lid, it springs up immediately and there, waiting is a single baby wipe which i pull out. If...
