When it's time for solids, try the OXO Tot Feeding Spoon. Available in sets of two, this Feeding Spoon has a protective food-grade silicone coating which is gentle on babies gums and mouth. The soft edges of the silicone can be used to scrape the last bit of sweet potato from the bowl or jar, or to gently wipe apple sauce from babies face. The shallow Spoon prevents feeding baby too much food at once. A contoured handle is comfortable to hold and angled for easy feeding.

We tried several types of spoon when my son was first exploring food and these were a firm favourite. They have a solid feel to them but a lovely thick soft layer over the actual spoon that he could chew on or shove into his mouth without hurting himself. They are quite shallow but even now he's over a year old we still use them for yoghurt etc and they have nice chunky handles for him to use himself.

really easy to feed baby with these as the handles are thick and big enough for my hands but also good for when baby starts to feed himself. the rubber ends are good at cleaning around babys mouth during feeds brilliant service recieved before expected delivery date.

Good quality spoons, but not suitable for first weaning, 12 May 2015
I bought these as first weaning spoons, and although they are well made, I feel they are too hard for my 6 month. I think the chubby handles will make these spoons useful when my daughter is older and spoonfeeding herself.
