Little Ones Love It - Not High Value., 5 Aug. 2016

Received just in time for my grandchildren - two year old twins - to arrive and once built up it immediately drew both of them to it like bees to honey.

Firstly it is quite big so if space is a premium then this has to be factored in because once built taking it apart is not going to be easy as it is clearly designed to stay fully assembled.

Once the twins spotted this the reaction was brilliant and they could not wait to get playing with it. The twins are boy and girl so it was interesing to see how they reacted and they pretty much conformed to the stereotype. My granddaughter was far more thoughtful and worked out the lift and drop mechanism quickly whilst my grandson approached it like Bam Bam and took far longer to suss it out. Once he had of course there was a bit of squabbling over the pick and drop arm.

Slightly bonkers, 1 Aug. 2016

This is a rather large and slightly bonkers toy. It doesn’t make a lot of sense- it’s a sort of very short marble run but for cars, but there’s also a trampoline and a machine for dropping the cars onto the trampoline- but it’s got a lot of entertainment value which makes up for the lack of any narrative or basic common sense.

The trampoline bit is small but surprisingly powerful. When a car drops onto it, it can go in pretty much any direction- including backwards, through the circle in the plastic- and can cover quite a distance. It won’t bounce cars up high enough that they’re going to accidentally hit your child in the face or anything like that though, so I’d regard it as generally safe despite the chaotic element.

We already had some Go Grippers toy cars from another toy and both our kids are very taken with them. The soft plastic mesh at the back makes it really easy for our youngest’s slightly clumsy hands...

Grandson Loves This, 31 July 2016

Grandson loves this. He couldn't wait for it to be put together so he could play with it. It comes in a large box and once it is fully constructed, it really is huge. You can use the 'claw' to pick up the car, lift it up to the top and then let go, dropping it on a bouncy pad - great fun. You can also run your car down the heater-skelter type slope. Whoever thinks these things up seems to be able to get into a child's mind.OK I agree with other reviewers that one car is not enough and whilst other car are available, they are not cheap. I feel it would have been better if the company had put in two or even three cars and then most, if not all reviews would agree to give the full 5 stars. But in context, for what it is, I am happy to award the full 5 stars.
