Prior to discovering this perfume oil, I used to search Amazon for 'Gloria' fairly frequently.
Owing to Cacharel's bizarre decision to pull the plug on it a few years ago, bottles of the original are expensive and hard to come by. It had such a tragically short life too, having only been created in 2002. I used to search for it, in the seemingly forlorn hope that someone would see fit to bring it back. I never really thought to ask myself why I was keeping such a vigil. The fact is though that 'Gloria' was, for quite some time, my ex-wife's signature scent. I used to buy it for her regularly - well, whenever I was in her bad books for something or other.
So, we're talking VERY regularly indeed.
I could hardly believe my eyes when I did my most recent search and found this 'Oh Gloria!' perfume oil! Looking at the price of it, I'm afraid my sceptical side did assume that it would smell more like a men's urinal than something that is retailing elsewhere...
