Wonderfully light overnight cream, 11 Dec. 2009

I have tried a huge number of different overnight creams over the years from cheap to ridiculously expensive. Although a lot of them do produce beautifully soft and moisturised skin, the majority have been far too greasy and don't absorb well.

I don't tend to go for Olay as I have previously find some of their products quite oily but I stumbled upon this treasure a while ago and have never looked back. It is absolutely lovely - feels really smooth on your skin without being greasy. Olay say that it will help to generate fresher and younger looking skin in the morning. I'm not entirely convinced about the looking younger part but, for me, the main thing is that my skin feels suitably moisturised and fresher. Plus it's also fragrance free which I like.

I used to change my moisturiser in the colder months but find that this still does the job just as well as in summer. The 50ml pot will last me a good couple of months if used in moderation, slightly less over...

I have been looking for reasonably priced night creams on line, this fits the bill, not only in price but helping to improve the softness of my skin. Easily absorbed and light, does not leave the skin feeling greasy.I have always trusted Olays products, and this too come up to expectations.

I had been trying out the Olay Total Effects line, giving that a chance for three months or so. I found that to be 'good' but found myself coming back to their Essentials (Complete Care) range. With the winter months being more harsh to the skin, this is much better. Where I did like the 'fluid' in the pump of the Total Effects line, this has a greater impact in my opinion and is a much better face cream (I have been back on this cream for about 2 weeks now and am already noticing a good difference - skin is more supple, soft, smooth, eyes seem less tired looking, skin is generally looking in much better condition than with the Effects line).
