These are very absorbent. They are quite large though and the stitching and backing shrink a little making them "cup" slightly but unfortunately the wrong way so they have a tendency to have creases in them which doesn't look great and can make them a bit itching sometimes

Excellent bamboo nursing pads, 20 Sept. 2016

My partner used these organic bamboo nursing pads last year after giving birth to our son. A friend of hers recommended them to her and she began using them. The nursing pads were organic cotton reusable pads and she found it was better for her skin than the disposable ones. The pads had an extra soft bamboo lining which she said felt comfortable inside her bra. One layer of the pads was made from wool and the other layer was made of silk which was soft and comfortable next to her skin. She also said the pads were wider than she expected. The other thing she was impressed with was the nursing pads laundry bags. It’s ironic that my partner friend is now pregnant and is expecting by the end of the year. Organic, Resuable, Absorbent Nursing Pads simply great!!!, 9 Sept. 2016

I bought this for my wife and her comments on this where :Pros:

- They're reusable and organic, which is really important to me. I cloth diaper my daughter and couldn't imagine using a disposable product for myself, not when you need a set every day and night. Talk about waste! These seem really well made and still look new after several washes.

- They're really, really absorbent and quilt up beautifully after they're washed. Bamboo is one of those materials that gets more absorbent over a couple washes and these definitely followed that rule. They've been able to stand up to beginning let down and I have a strong let down so that says a lot. They're also absorbent enough to wear overnight which is awesome.

- They're generously sized, I've tried a couple boutique nursing pads that are half the size and are basically useless. Seriously, I think they might be more useful as dollhouse placemats when my baby is older. They might not be fancy, but you need a good sized pad...
