My wife bought this for our little 6 week old boy. I personally didn't feel it was necessary as all I was doing before was biting them off as instructed by many 'new parent' handooks.Anyways, she bought this set and hasn't used it since! I however have used it twice so far and admit that it's a slightly better way of cutting his nails.it's cleaner, you can see how much you're cutting off with the first cut and it leaves a straighter cut.I've knocked off a star for the build quality as it does feel fairly flimsy but as of yet not had any problems.For the price these are, you might as well give them a go

I was quite disapointed by the quailty of this set. The blades on the scissor was too broad to even fit under the babys nails, and the clipper was inefficient as well. It is going straigth to the waste bin.

This is that things that works and are very useful when you have a newborn at home. And this one is a good combination of all the stuff you need.
