This was bought as a present for my husband when his old one broke. What a difference he finds in this. His old one wasn't a cheap make but this shaver works much better. My husband also says that having the balm able to be squeezed out through the blades whilst shaving does help reduce irritation. Very good shaver and a good price.

Discontinued, 17 Aug. 2015

Philips have discontinued the HS 8000 range and despite their recommendation to replace the shaver head very year you now cannot get them, I have contacted Philips and was told they are not made any more.
