Thick and Heavy, 30 Jan. 2014

These are fairly short but do their job. I have two Labradors, and whilst they are the friendliest chaps you will meet. they are also the most excitable with regards to walks so these chains do wonders for helping keep them under control. Attiitude and tone of voice, coupled with treats does the rest. My labs are the chunky kind and as such they have pretty thick necks, ( they have reached the stage where they are quite large, despite the frequency and the duration of the walk due to the fact that they eat everything) thus they are quite strong and pull in their eagerness to get to the park and the fields, which is when they are allowed off the lead. between my house and there however are many busy roads and the check/choke chain helps keep them safe from pulling themselves into the road in their excitement. If your dogs are difficult or excitable then i would defiantly recommend these as a training aid.

dog choke chain, 22 July 2011

ideal for big powerfull dogs as this wont snap like others have in the past and its for the dog walker not to be pulled around by a strong dog this works very well and are a great bye
