Effective on the face, struggles where hair grows in multiple directions, 23 Dec. 2015

I use electric shavers exclusively and have done for about 15 years. I tend to use the rotary style shavers more, but have had a couple of these style shavers. Overall this is the best of this style I have used. Its major flaw is one that all of these style shavers seem to have in that they only really work when the shaver is moved against the grain. What this means is that around the neck where my hair grows from all different directions I need to go over many times with varying angles to make sure all the hair is cut. This leads to a bit of irritation, more than I get with the rotary style shavers.

However, the plus side of this shaver is that it does cut hair well where it grows in the same direction consistently (cheeks, chin and around the lips). It also has no problem dealing with longer hair. I've left my stubble grow for 7-8 days before and this shaver has coped really well. My quest for a razor that gives as good shave as a wet shave, although this is better than a previous one

It is not as good as a wet shave.

Sounding like a demented bumble bee it certainly copes with longer hair better and the built in pop up trimmer works well. It holds its charge well but I did not like the way that there was no charge level shown until nearly exhausted.

One of the supposed advantages of an electric razor is that it is quicker and more convenient, I found that it took about the same time to shave as with a wet razor, but if you follow the cleaning instructions it takes longer overall. Finally a razor that is better than a manual wet shave! We've been looking for a while for a shaver that can be used wet that doesn't cause irritation and is as effective as a manual shave and this is it. It can be rinsed under the tap and used with shaving foam or used dry. Due to sensitive skin we've been using this with foam and it is the first electric shaver that hasn't caused redness or a rash. It catches even really short hairs and leaves you feeling smooth and gorgeous.

Easy to use, just the right weight and shape to be comfortable, it could be a tad grippier for when used wet but this isn't a big problem. The pop out trimmer has saved having to use a separate one which saves time and space when travelling. It's a very versatile shaver, you can feel it changing speed in denser areas to have more power shaving and then in the finer stubbly areas it slows the pace so it doesn't damage your skin.
