Great book but Some questions need updating, 13 April 2016

It looks stunning and really happy with the ink part for the baby!! Only missing out on a star because some of the questions feel a bit presumptive. The assumption that every couple having a baby are married etc may need updating. Or at least shown in the product description. But that's just me. Other than nice looking memo book.

Ideal for keen first time parents to start in pregnancy, but a bit too much in some places., 7 Sept. 2016

My second daughter is 3 months old and the way this book is designed I already feel a bit daunted to start this as I feel I've missed too much incredibly as this starts with how mummy and daddy met (assumes straight two parent established relationship if not marriage before children family) to recording pregnancy and then thinks about when baby comes along.

Other sections make me feel inadequate such as the birth pages practically screams natural birth which may be difficult for an emergency Csection mum to further come to terms with what has happened to her body when it isn't even an option in these books.

Other bits I felt were excessive were the huge double spread on 'people who visited me and their presents'as I no longer have a large family to visit us and other bits one across a little 'americanised' and presumptious and I really wonder would I be interested in reading about my sleep cycle had my mum recorded it as this expects me for my daughter.

However...

Lovely book but could do with 'pockets' to put photos in. Sticky taping the corners of a picture is going to spoil the look of the book a little
