Well designed shaver, 5 Aug. 2015

I normally use Gillette Fusion Proglide as my Razor pf choice. Electronic shavers do however have their benefits, particularly when traveling. Inside the box you will find the shaver itself, shaving head and beard styler, a few combs, storage pouch and charger.

The aesthetics of the shaver are good. it is comfortable to hold and glides over my skin. This model definitely provides for a close shave. I apply a small amount of pre-shave balm and have been pleased with the results. I do find that electronic shavers pull on my facial hair a little, and I do like a close shave. There is a small amount of pulling here, but not as significant as some pf the previous electronic shavers I have used. There are various settings to adjust the clipper to trim your beard to a desired length. I don't have a beard myself so have not tested this. The shaver is also water resistant; I have used it in the shower without any issues.

A tidy and capable all rounder, 13 July 2015

This is a portable, stylish, multi-purpose shaver from Philips, which provides a good facial shave and offers some useful extras. I had some help with this review from my son... who says:

I soon had the shaver out of its box and charging up for the first time, which took less than hour. The manual uses pictures rather than words, to good effect, to explain how to use each attachment. It is well worth going through the manual before letting this device loose on your face or body, particularly if you haven’t used a circular electric shaver head before.

The black colour with red lines made a good first impression on me. The device looks serious but not dull. The design also ensures that the all-important grip is there, whether used dry or in the shower.

While the name ‘Click and Style’ and the box presentation market the product as multi-purpose, the device needs to be effective at facial shaving to really earn its place in the bathroom...
