These discs do seal your bottles completely to stop them leaking. However, they only work without the teat in place... so those would need to be kept separately in a sterile container. Personally, we just do without these, and keep the bottles upright as much as possible.

Very Happy with purchase, 31 July 2011
Quick delivery and does the job for storing milk in the fridge. Have had no problems with milk leaking when taking bottles out for the day. I was looking for these for a while as there was only one with the bottles I brought. I would definatly reccommend them.

This product completes an already amazing bottle. Seals tightly. Easily cleaned. Go with Philips Avent. All their pieces are interchange-able so you can keep using bottles/discs/handles/spouts when your baby reaches the toddler stage. Wish I had started using sooner.
