PlayTray for Stokke Tripp Trapp TRANSLUCENT is available in Highchairs

PlayTray is designed for the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair. PlayTrays soft and round design makes it easy to mount and clean. It has an edge that keeps spilled liquids and items on the tray. Playtray is designed by the Danish designer Carsten Buhl. The tray is made plastic with a non-scratch surface and produced in Denmark from K-Resin RK150 (SBC), which is FDA approved. This NEW version of the PlayTray is compatible with the new plastic baby set. NOTE: We do not recommend this tray for use with the original wooden babyset bar. While the tray does fit the chair it does leave a gap between the bar and tray. Please email or see our UK site for more details on this. Our primary concern always is for baby safety and recommend the use of the harness and babyset for as long as you consider appropriate for your child's age and more important mobility as age is not the best indicator. The harness is not a problem to use with the tray and a good idea if you have a very mobile child. The tray is not a child restraint. Recommendations from the manufacturer, 4mykid can be found at their website. Please ensure you read and comply to these

Expensive but worth it overall, 25 Aug. 2014

I rarely write reviews but thought I should on this product as I read ALL the reviews before eventually purchasing! The only problem with this play tray is the cost..... If it was £30ish then would give 5 stars. The tray has been brillant with my baby as she is having lots of finger food, it is made of strong plastic with a large lip all the way round so food / drink mainly stays in the tray. It's easy to clean (I just use a dettol wipe) and to take on and off, as when I'm feeding with spoon she is sitting up to the table. We have the light wooden colour and not noticed any scratching like some of the other reviews, thou I think they had a coloured frame. There is a small gap between the baby frame and tray of 12mm but all I do is took the bottom of the bib down there - this actually makes less mess on baby / chair! So overall, yes it is expensive (since you have already paid for a very expensive high chair!) but for me it is def worth it as it will be used until old enough to sit at...

Excellent addition to the Tripp Trapp! Well worth the price, 28 Dec. 2014

Well what can I say this is brilliant! We've had it about a week now and its been a god send. My sons toast stayed where it should and he eat better by picking the toast up from the tray. Easy to spray down to keep it hygienic too which for me was the reason we bought it.

I don't take it on and off the Tripp Trapp as personally I think it would weaken the arms and snap eventually. So leave it on. Luckily our kitchen is big enough that this isn't an issue for us.

Food doesn't seem to fall between the tray and the chair any more than other high chairs.

Seems sturdy enough

Very expensive but lets be honest here we've all forked out for the Tripp Trapp in the first place which isn't cheap so hey ho to that one!

Although expensive its built exceptionally well and a lot of craftsmanship has gone in to this product. I'm not sure tbh what I expected but when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised at how well built this thing is...

expensive but worth it, 14 Mar. 2010
Once you've got over the fact that you've just spent so much money on a piece of plastic, this tray is really worth it. It is quite heavy and substantial (so it should be for that price). We bought the tripp trapp chair as we loved the idea of our baby sitting up at the table to eat with the family but in reality, it's just not practical. A couple of weeks into weaning, we gave up and bought this tray and don't regret it at all. Our daughter is seven months old and is doing a combination of baby-led weaning and traditional weaning. This means that she has quite large pieces of food on the tray. The lip on the edge is substantial enough to stop most things going over the side. The tray is easy to take on and off and to clean. I would thoroughly recommend this tray to anyone who is weaning their baby.
