PlayTray for Stokke Tripp Trapp WHITE is available in Highchairs

PlayTray is designed for the Stokke Tripp Trapp chair. PlayTrays soft and round design makes it easy to mount and clean. It has an edge that keeps spilled liquids and items on the tray. Playtray is designed by the Danish designer Carsten Buhl. The tray is made plastic with a non-scratch surface and produced in Denmark from K-Resin RK150 (SBC), which is FDA approved. This NEW version of the PlayTray is compatible with the new plastic baby set. Our primary concern always is for baby safety and recommend the use of the harness and babyset for as long as you consider appropriate for your child's age and more important mobility as age is not the best indicator. The harness is not a problem to use with the tray and a good idea if you have a very mobile child. The tray is not a child restraint. Hmmmmm...not overly impressed!, 8 Feb. 2012

I really wanted to like this product as I love love lve the trip trapps we have, and I've waited until it has had several weeks of use before writing this review.

In theory, this product is fab. We have the new style trip Trapp with the plastic baby set, and therefore I was pleased to see that the tray has been redesigned for a good fit with the new babyset. Well, unless there is a different plastic babyset out there, which I believe there isn't, this tray doesn't fit that well. At the front of the tray there is a gap of 2.5cm (yes I measured it) between the tray and the baby set. My older baby has much fun posting all his food through the gap and laughing. I wasn't impressed with this, but as I live abroad and had had the tray brought out to me by a friend there was really no easy way to return it, so I thought I would see how we did.

I read the instructions carefully, which state that plastic from stick on high chair toys (with the rubber suction cup) might...

Does NOT fit new babyset, 5 Jun. 2012
I bought the translucent version of this tray and was really excited about there finally being a tray for the Tripp Trapp as it is badly needed. I had the old baby set, but after contacting the seller was informed by them that the tray would still attach ok, just with a gap. So, I got the tray and there was indeed a gap - a HUGE one (nearly 2 inches). As I got the new version of the tray (the October 2011 one) that is supposedly intended for the new baby set I couldn't really argue about this. However, I then got a new baby set thinking the problem would be solved, but no. The gap is still huge. The edge of the tray sits too far away from the baby, and the gap between the tray and babyset is big enough for food to be dropped/posted down, so all in all a bit useless. They may as well be up against the table as STOKKE intended as the amount of food lost to the floor will be the same. Hugely disappointed.

These are great!, 8 Jun. 2013
Having twins means I've had to buy two of these and, apart from how horrendously overpriced it is, the item is fantastic. It's a shame that the inner edge of the tray sit so far away from the child - they lose a lot of food down that gap - but since they wear bucket bibs, quite a lot of the food is caught. No staining or difficulty in using it and I find that if I put one of the trays in place and push the other chair close from the front, both boys can share the tray, which is handy. Still need two though.
