To begin with these waterproofs seems ideal. They spacious, great colours for the kids and seemed to keep the wet out well. They aren't made of what I would call a normal waterproof material, the fabric has a soft rubberised feel to it. Very comfortable and much nicer to wear than the muddlepuddles waterproofs the kids have had before, but this fabric also seems to be the problem. Its not very resilient. My kids don't tend to stay on their feet all the time when they are out. They are sitting down next to rock pools, climbing using their knees and this fabric damages quite easily. It doesn't tear, but the waterproof coating rubs off. The knees and bum of both our girls pairs are already in not great condition. We went for these ones as the muddy puddles range (which we found great before) don't do a 6 - 7 age range, but in fairness from a leg length point of view these come up quite short on our 5 and 6 year olds. My toddler has had loads of puddle jumping fun in these. It has been great to have these on hand when we go to the park and I even head out now if it is raining as I know he can still play. I gave 4 stars as the elastic on the bottom is adjustable and comes off when he plays. I might sew them on to prevent this but besides that I'm very happy with this product.

Good value for money, 15 Feb. 2016

Seem very good value for money - have only given 4* as not sure how well they'll wear but so far so good. Other had made comments about size, my daughter is 3 & 1/2 & quite tall but the relevant age 3/4 size fit very well - definitely space to grow into so will do next winter too.
