I highly recommend these dungarees. They are absolutely lovely, very soft and comfortable material with a soft breathable cotton lining. They are on the large size so unless your child is exceptionally tall for their age I would recommend sticking with the correct size for their age. I ordered age 2-3 for my grandson who is almost 3yrs and of average height. After reading other reviews I decided to stay with his age appropriate size, and I’m glad I did as they come up very high on him, so lots of room for growth and they will fit him for quite some time to come in sure. Lovely product and will definitely be buying again for his little brother.

Bought the 7-8 years size for my 6 year old son. He's tall for his age (116cm) and quite slim. They come up fairly high on his chest (as expected, I did buy the next size up) but they're secure, snug and plenty of room to grow into. These really feel like they're high quality. The lining is great. Will be nice and warm for him. Hope this helps others on judging size.

Although playshoes consistently make items a little larger than expected (for my little people), I always buy the right size and roll up legs and arms. I have tried other brands but this is my absolute favourite. Good quality, easy to put on, nice material lining so can be worn alone on warmer wet days and fully and wholly waterproof. I love the bright colours too. If I had any negative comment it is that the buckles on the straps are a little too close to my daughter's neck, but she is very little (extremely mobile at 8 months) and I never had this problem with her elder brother with the same item (in red) when he was a bit bigger.
