I have been buying moccasins slippers for me son since he was 1 and this is the first time this has happened.These moccasin house shoes are not the amazing quality you expect from Playshoes. The "sock" part is lovely and soft and good quality. The stitching is good. The bottom/sides of the moccasin are a leatherette. The leatherette seems ill chosen for these moccassins as it is much thinner than the usual leathers or fabrics used. So unfortunately within a few weeks of wearing at home the leatherette starts to break around all the stitching-eventually tearing-and the whole bottom moccasin falling off. I think the bottom and side leathertte used in the manufacturing of this moccasin needs to be replaced with something thicker and stronger.

These are lovely slippers - cute design, stay on well, fit snugly so don't trip kids up while they are racing around and don't restrict the foot at all. They are just like normal socks but with a nicely padded non-slip sole. My son hates all the socks with little non-slip patches on as they feel funny under his feet but he loved these. I only wish they made non gender specific colours and bigger sizes as they were already on the small size when they arrived and he quickly outgrew them.

Very comfy thick socks.Well made, snug fit (probably because of such thick comfy socks).Although not a leather sole, wears well enough.a good buy.
