I live in Portugal, where spring and summer are quite sunny. As such, I wanted to protect my little one when she rides on the stroller on sunny days. At first I considered buying a parasol but I live in a windy coastal city and the parasol probably would not stand against strong winds. For this reason, I opted for a sunshade, which stand better against the wind. Playshoes' shades come in wide variety of colours and felt adequate so I bough one of the same colour as the stroller. And I'm very happy that I did!
The material is resistant and passed the test against strong winds. The sunshade is made of polyester, the top feels like a thick cloth and the reverse side is covered with a rubbery fabric. The sunshade gets very hot but my baby stays fresh underneath, a sign that it offers protection from the sun and nasty UV rays.
