Brilliant simple toy, 2 Nov. 2010
My little girl loves this toy. I probably bought it for her when she was 7 months old but really wanted to buy a toy where she could do something and something would happen as a result and this is just perfect for that. She is good at getting the 3 figures out of the slots (in time hopefully she'll put them back in) and she can spend ages pressing the buttons that make the other bits pop up and she can easily pop them down again. An older child (aged 2) we know has also had fun playing with this. It is a good well-made toy and doesn't need anything like batteries either so I really can't fault it at all.

MummyLizzie's review fully endorsed. We bought when son was c.9mths. It didn't take him long to learn to push the pop-ups back down to start again. Has been playing with it happily for few months now. The pop in characters are a nice size & quality for little hands to holdThe only negative is that within 20mins he had managed to bang 1 of the separate shape pop ins on the base of the main unit and rub quite a bit of black paint of its eyes onto the base - a little disappointing, but I do accept he is very good at banging things together and probably a heavier user of toys for that reason than many babies!Certainly worth c.£[] in my view.

Playskool Press 'N Pop Shapes, 11 Feb. 2011
I am pleased with this purchase, it feels well made and had nice extra features - shape sorting and rattles, I think it could be improved if the pop up bits had faces on them instead of swirls - peek-a-boo would be more exciting that way. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be. It didn't keep my little one occupied for very long, but she is only just 9 months so maybe she is just a bit young for it, hopefully she will grow into it.
