What is a Poddle Pod? The Poddle Pod is a weight activated snuggle nest, designed to give your baby the feeling of being cradled in your arms. There are two size variations available.
How do they work? When you place your baby in the Pod, the sides pull in to give them a gentle snuggle, giving you an extra pair of arms whilst your little one naps securely.
What age are they designed for? The Poddle Pod was designed around a 4 month old baby, The Poddle Pod is ideally used from birth until around 6 months old. As every baby varies in size and development, 6 months is a rough guide. The Toddle Pod is a wider and longer version of the smaller Poddle Pod and is designed to be used with babies from 6 months onwards.
If your baby wears 3-6 month clothing and are confused to which Pod to purchase, we would recommend purchasing the Toddle Pod to ensure you get optimum use.

How do i know if my baby is positioned correctly? As a guide for newborn babies, they should be positioned in the centre of the Pod on their back and their full profile should be visible from the side. As they grow their head will be supported at one end, whilst their legs drape over the other end (Just like they are when they are cradled in your arms) Can the Pod be used for unsupervised sleeping? As the Pod was designed and tested for supervised use, as a general rule we recommend that your baby is always attended in their Pod, asleep or awake. So what can i use my Pod for? As a new parent, we know that life can get very hectic and something that you used to take for granted such as getting dressed in the morning can become a difficult task. The Pods can be used to make the transition into parenthood easier. I would not recommend this product, 18 Oct. 2016

Partially successful while he was tiny. It is very short even for a newborn, so baby has to overlap one end or the other. Instructions not at all clear and pictures show larger older babies with head and shoulders up on the edge. With tiny baby we put head flat and legs up. He found this ok for a few weeks, but now at 6 weeks he does not use it. I would not recommend this product. I think far more information needs to be provided on how to use it properly.

A great daybed nest, 21 April 2017

My baby is 2 months old and I bought this for him recently on the recommendation of friends. I have to say I really like it because he has settled really well in it. The soft velour side is lovely for him to sleep on during the day while the printed cotton side is cool to play on and relax and great for tummy time. The idea is this is a day nest rather than one for your baby's crib or cosleeper bed at night (there are other suitable nests for that). It's lightweight and easy to take when visiting- until now I had been bundling the carrycot which is a bit big into the car for any snoozes at friends houses. It's about the size of a large pillow so it doesn't take up a lot of space in the car. The idea isn't for your little one to stretch out and lie flat, but be cradled and so their legs and head should overlap the edges. Haven't used with baby yet as I'm still expecting. I read that fits in a Moses basket and I have a pretty big Moses basket and it doesn't fit but I still think it's a great idea to have one of these. I'm going to use mine down stairs. I was also told you can use them over night but I'm not sure now I have done my research I don't think they are for over night use.
