Solid and reliable., 1 Dec. 2015

I bought three of these for public toilets in a Church building. They are solid, look good and work well - but I did have an issue with one of them. If the front and back mechanisms are not completely lined up, then the mechanism becomes stiff when tightened up and the mechanism in the handle can fall apart. It is simple fixed, but fiddly putting the parts back together. Once properly aligned, all was well.Another issue is that the indicator is not a tight fit to the outer mechanism and so there is a bit of play in the display. This means that sometimes when fully locked or unlocked, the indicator will show 'ACANT' or 'ENGAGE' rather then the full words. This is also easily fixed by a small blob of glue.

Excellent Product, 24 Nov. 2013

I could have done with this sooner, as my husband locked the old bathroom door & collapsed. I had to break the bathroom door down - whereas if I'd had this lock sooner, I could have undone it from the outside with either a coin or screwdriver & my door would have been intact

GREAT VALUE,SHOULD BE THE NORM FOR ALL HOMES, 11 Jan. 2013

A VERY GOOD AND ECONOMICAL PRODUCT. i WAS A BIT DOUBTFUL BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT THE MOST EXPENSIVE, HOWEVER THE LOCKS ARRIVED PROMPTLY. THEY ARE VERY STURDY AND WERE FITTED WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. BEST OF ALL I AM NOW COMPLIANT WITH REGULATIONS THAT INSIST A DOOR MUST BE ABLE TO BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE IN AN EMERGENCY
