Useful but over-priced, 16 Aug. 2012
We've made quite a lot of use out of it with our one-month old - using it on the sofa (always watched over) floor and bed.Soon I think he'll be too active for it to be safe as the walls aren't very high and are baby is very active and strong. Prob ok for another month I guess.Am not sure it stops you from rolling on to the baby during the night, but it does give the baby a slightly constrained space which he may feel safe in - as opposed to the big bed.The width is ok for our son, the problem of course is that double beds are designed for 2 people, so 2 adults and a baby are a squeeze in a normal size double.I don't get what the "matress" is for - it's too thin too add much padding, so we don't use it.I would not use it to carry the baby in, it doesn't feel sturdy enough.I think a reasonable price would be 20 quid.If you are nifty with a sewing machine, you could quickly run one up.

Too expensive, 1 April 2013
This item is rather expensive. I ordered it to co-sleep with my grandson when he stays with me overnight, and to be able to put him back into his cot without disburbing him too much. I do not like the carry straps at all, and I have cut them off as I would not be happy leaving him on his own in his cot with the long straps which could perhaps be dangerous when he starts to move around a little
