As Mums we know that usually one potty isn't enough - you will need speedy access to the potty chair, especially at the beginning of training so consider one for upstairs and one for downstairs. You may also want one for a second carer, for example at Grandma's house, or to keep in the car. Good size, but lid is too flimsy, 15 July 2012

This is a great little potty and my daughter can sit down far easier than if she was using a traditional potty. The height of the seat is just right and means she is squatting in the right position for both comfort and stability.

One thing I am a little unhappy about is she cannot sit on the seat with the lid in place. The lid is quite flimsy and keeps being squished into the potty part so she isn't happy to use it as a chair. It's not a big problem, as we didn't really buy it to be used as a chair. The lid is weakly attached and comes off if pulled a bit. However, the flexibility does mean it's unlikely to break by snapping at the hinge. If you wanted to have the chair just as a potty, it's very easy to take the lid off altogether, but it's very handy to be able to shut the lid on any smells if there is a delay in emptying the removable potty. The lid is attached to the white potty part and not the chair itself and the whole potty part (with lid attached) is VERY easy...

My almost 3yo girl obviously has a huge bum... Everytime she sits on it for longer than a number one it leaves a nasty red ring on her bum! It is not very comfortable at all. Wish id gone for a branded one & avoided this cheap flimsy thing. Five stars to my girl, still potty trained on it!!Bit off a fuddle with delivery too, had the manager call me saying the box was destroyed so I had to go and collect this- not ideal with a newborn and a toddler. After much fuss I had them tell the delivery company used - Hermes - that the item was plastic and would not easily be broken and could be transported minus a box. I had to do a lot of convincing to get it delivered, but it eventually arrived two week later, with the damaged box all taped up. Why they couldn't have avoided all that and just done that in the first place... Hermes fault though not the cash and carry, their guy was very helpful on getting it here.Still, would not reccomend unfortunately

It is good little potty but the lid comes off easily and the seat it's self could easily snap so I wouldn't recommend for older children
