Poor fit and refusal to refund once tried on despite the poor f, 1 Mar. 2014

I used product's own sizing recommendation chart and ordered large as I fell roughly in the middle of the large range (slightly closer to the medium sized section in fact). When the tights arrived I, naturally as you would, tried them on. I found them incredibly uncomfortable and disproportionately tight on my thighs, giving them an odd misshapen appearance. As a pretty standard UK size 12 I normally have no problem with sizing. Realising however with this product I would not be able to use this it, I looked at the packaging for the returns instructions to find a piece of paper in the bag saying once tried on the product would not be accepted for a refund. Firstly I question whether this is strictly legally compliant - under the UK Distant Selling Regulations consumers buying online are allowed to return for refund goods for any reason within 7 days, even if you just change your mind. Providing a lot of comfort for bad legs in pregnancy, 21 Aug. 2013
Third pregnancy around causing problems with leg veins and these tights make them much much more comfortable. I imagine that compression tights to be hard to put on at the best of times but I would advise giving yourself time, space and privacy before attempting to get these on when you have a big bump as you feel like a complete idiot rolling around trying to get them on - or I did anyway.
