I jumped on the beard oil bandwagon a few months ago now and have now added this one to my collection of beard oils. Every year I grow a beard from December to around April then I whip it off for the warmer months and so I repeat the process year after year.
I have noticed that as I get another year older - 47 this year - cough and splutter - that my beard is becoming a tad dryer and a bit more grey (it was black in Dec 2013) I kid ye not!
So I was glad to give this one a go to compare to the others I have been using.
This came in an old style dark brown chemist bottle with an eye dropper screwed into the top. I like these bottles - they hark back to victorian times...

When writing this review, my beard (yeard) is around 14 months old. There has been very little trimming, so it's probably at about its maximum natural length for this age, and it's VERY frizzy. To prevent or reduce split ends, itching, brittle hair etc, I need to regularly apply beard oil and other products.
I've tried a few different brands of beard oil, from the cheap little bottles you can buy anywhere on the internet, to the larger, more expensive ones in Boots etc. I seem to have quite sensitive skin, and some of the cheaper oils have left me with uncomfortable rashes on my face. They're also notorious for not retaining their fragrance for very long.
This beard oil came in a large bottle, with built in dropper in the lid, and is clearly a quality and manly item. There's an awesome mint fragrance to the oil, that doesn't cause skin-cooling, and just a little of the oil goes a very long way, it gave my beard decent weight all day.
