I bought this toilet seat 1 month ago to take out with us on holidays and weekends, since I don't want to take the one at home and fit it in hotels' toilets.

Good quality and confortable. Light and small (easy to carry with us). Strong enough suction cups.

It attaches my oval toilet but not my square toilet (hence 4*), and it attaches all other round ones we've tried on. The attaching issue is due to the suction cups which are 20cm apart and 9cm from the front (there are no suction cups on the back). On a round/oval toilet there's always a narrower part to attach it, but not on a square one...

Before buying it I wondered about its measures (since I couldn't find this info anywere): (outer) 30cm wide x 34cm long, (inner) 11cm wide x 17cm long! If you're wondering about the inner measures being so small, (in my opinion) it's one of the reasons that makes it so confortable and they feel safe on it.

The pee shield is not that big (about 5cm high), but it's good enough...

Only lasted @ 6 weeks before ripping, 2 Nov. 2012

We bought this product in the US while on vacation, and my 2 year old son LOVED it, so we brought it back to us. It developed a rip in the side after 6-8 weeks of usage and then ripped completely through, and I attributed it to travel wear & tear.

We re-ordered it from amazon.co.uk in August and were, again, extremely happy with it, until it too developed a rip and tore through after approximately 3 months of usage. There must be design flaw for it to break after such a relatively short time of usage. It's not like he's hammering on it or jumping up and down on it, so it should be built to last longer for the money.

To summarize, we really love the (intact) product: it's very comfortable, the pee shield is nice but not too big, and it's the only potty seat my son will use. I gave it a one star rating because we could only use it for a short period of time before it ripped through. Just when our son was used to it and liked it, then we had to go and buy...

We have another seat as well (won some award) but this is by far the better of the two. If they did adult-size versions I'd get one. It's comfortable, won't slide on the seat due to suction cups and is great.
