An excellent brush and good value too, 7 Jun. 2014

I decided to give double-edged (DE) safety-razor shaving a go recently, I was sick of paying fortunes for Gillette cartridges and half the time getting razor burn and basically not a close shave. My stubble is tough and does not like being shaved at all! I have reviewed the kit separately but the only thing I realy found lacking was the brush.

The brush I'm reviewing here is a 'Super' Badger hair brush which I've read most 'DE guys' class as the best quality of hair. It is certainly far superior to the brush in the kit I bought and feels much softer yet firmer (more 'springy') at the same time, perhaps because the hairs are shorter and more densely packed together. This combination works very well and the brusg gives a good lather with less soap than the kit brush; also...

This is my first brush as part of my first foray into DE shaving.I went for the medium and I find the brush does the job very well. It's not at all scratchy and lathers nicely. Gives a nice spread across my face and is nice and easy to wash. Having spoke to a few people on various forums this brush is noted as somewhat of a bargain and I tend to agree.

not entirely sure what I was supposed to expect and have no frame of reference as this is the first product like this i've ever used.so far i'm quite enjoying it so I'd happily recommend it to anyone consider buying something like this.
