I bought this mattress to replace the standard mattresss my first daughter had in her cot when her baby sister came along. I love the fact it can be dismantled and easily transported to grandparents etc. Also love the fact that chances of cot death are almost zero with it's mesh over the frame design. However I was unprepared for how much the mattress dips where my 8 week old (so not particularly heavy yet) lies on it. It's almost like she's sleeping on a hammock. We could take it out of the cot and try and tighten the straps a little more but there's not much slack left to pull. Will be interesting to see how much more it dips as she gets bigger. That said she sleeps well on it and seems comfortable.

the baby wriggles until she right in the centre, she sleeps well and seems happy and comfortable. if she is sick it goes straight through so i feel she is very safe - less risk of cot death i think. its clean and hygenic as the cover is easy to remove. it is very much like a hammock so be prepared that it is not a conventional mattress and as such she cannot roll over in it so has to sleep on her back. it is light and easy to takeapart if you wished to use it on holiday etc. wish this had been available when my eldest was little! no complaints at all!
