The Quacks Innovation Tappy Tap Guard is an ingenious invention for bath time that not only protects children from accidental head injuries and scalding from hot taps but is also a clever bath toy that teaches children colours and numbers as they play by pouring water into the octopus's mouth and catching it below whilst watching it's legs wiggle and dance. This is a fun and safe tap guard and bath toy that will keep children entertained at bath time and also protected. The tap guard is a universal tap fit that is easy to fit and remove with a velcro fastening. It is made from Neoprene, is machine washable and suitable for children aged 6 months to 6 years. Note - Should only be used under adult supervision.

Does the job perfectly and my little one loves it., 20 Mar. 2015

Was a bit unsure after seeing the previous review but then found a load of other positive ones on the jojo site which were all very positive so went for it (and very happy I did:-) Fitted my tap very easily and it looks like it would fit most others that I've seen too. The velcro makes sure it stays in position and my kids couldn't pull it off (despite trying pretty hard).

As soon as I got Tappy out my daughter (2) fell in love with it, she now tells Tappy when it's time for a bath, a far cry from when I used to have to drag her kicking and screaming into the bathroom! She definitely likes being able to pour water in the mouth. My son (4) is less interested in playing with it but has helped his sister learn colors/numbers by pointing out (very authoritatively) which tentacle is which.

Safety-wise, we've had no incidents since we got it which is a big change from the nightly bumps and tears routine we had before, they seem to be more aware of the tap area as 'Tappy's space'...

Bought the Tappy after growing concerns over my little boy banging his head on the bath tap as he loves to try to stand up now. We have an awkward middle of the bath mixer tap which I thought would be a problem but Tappy fits perfectly. My boy loved it from the first time we tried it looking forward to playing some of the games with him as he gets older. Great innovation safe and fun. Will recommend to anyone.

Protects baby from falling on the tap and is fun to play with, 24 Feb. 2016
My little one, 20 months, loves the octopus, especially when we have the water running. It fits very well, and protects the baby from falling on the tap. The material is thick enough, the strap closes tightly around the tap. I recommend buying this product.
