Ok - so I was on Amazon looking for something to help remove facial hair and found this item with masses of rave reviews. I then realised I was on the US site instead of the UK. There were only about 4 reviews on the UK site but as the US site was so effusive in their praise I decided to give it a try.

Now I had no hair issues at all on the face and neck until I hit 40. Since then I suddenly started sprouting coarse dark hairs on upper lip and chin and also finer blonder hairs.

I had read a few reviews on this item on the US site, including some top tips about how to use it.

I took it out of the packet, made an upside down U shape, placed it against my top lip and then twirled the two ends outwards. OMG - it worked like a dream. Now it isn't painless. you can't expect it to be pain free. There are a few 'jumpy' moments but it removes more hair than I ever thought I had! It is also easy to do without a mirror.

If you want it to be virtually pain free I suggest...

Only used this once, it takes quite a while to get every hair, so not as fast as epilating waxing or threading, but its cheaper and handy to stick in your make-up bag. Im going to stick with it and will probably speed up once I get used to it

I bought this to use for my upper lip, it does take out hair, with more use, you'll perfect it! It is pricey but I think it does work out cheaper than me going to get my upper lip threaded every once a month. I started to use this to remove little baby hairs on my forehead (which I shouldn't) because it's that effective!
