We've been using this clay for months now, and it's been a revelation. We use it primarily as a shampoo alternative but also use it now and then as a body treatment in the shower.
The two of us have very different hair types: one of us has Mediterranean hair (dark, thick, glossy, wavy) and the other Slavic (fine, dense, straight). It works beautifully with the Mediterranean hair, applied as a loose mud (think runny custard), conditioning and removing waxy buildup and excess oil without stripping, though a few drops of argan oil (the Moroccan Gold oil on Amazon is amazing) are needed to make sure it doesn't over-dry the ends, either mixed in or used afterwards. The juice of one lime closes the cuticle nicely.
The Slavic hair doesn't fare quite as nicely; granted, I'm growing out highlights so my hair is quite dry and overprocessed in parts, but I find that I get significant mineral build-up when I use clay alone, and it doesn't quite get rid of sebum very well...
