These use a thick elasticated band around the middle which isn't adjustable. I was worried the fit was too tight. Its also a pain to get on and off although it does unzip for nappy changes. The quality is good and the fabric does match the Redcastle range. Probably best for premature and newborn babies. I found placing a sheet underneath the cocoonababy and tucking it right round (arms out and loose round the legs) much easier!
