This device is an affair of less than a month, 28 Jun. 2015
It worked well for 3 weeks after an initial hitch. When I took it out of its box, it did not show any display or start even when it was tilted to start the display. The only effective way to start the thermometer was to take the button cells out of the thermometer and put these back again. When the thermometer was installed inline with the shower pipe without using any tool requirement, it starts showing temperature display when tilted and then automatically shuts itself off after shower. It also made buzzer noise when temperature of water rose beyond 40 degrees Celsius. It looks well-made but after installation, after a week, I noticed the blackening of LCD due to shower water leakage into the LCD display. It started losing the decimal digits, and after 3 weeks, now, it is completely shut off. The LCD is partly black and it does not display any digits now.

Great shower gadget, 11 Jun. 2014
Easily fitted to my showerhead. Auto off function after a set period of time, and can be turned on by tilting it sideways. The acoustic alarm + red alarm light is set to 41C and is loud enough to be heard over the shower, though I wish they had set the limit slightly higher as I only find the water to become too uncomfortable around 43+ and the mains water temperature regulation makes it bounce between 39-42C at the showers hottest so it will trigger constantly if you don't adjust it.That isn't enough to make me dislike the product however, as it's not loud enough to be obnoxious and it beats testing the temperature with your hand.

Ok - but triggers a bit too low., 2 Aug. 2014
41 degrees noise trigger is a bit annoying - no, it's very annoying. I used to shower at 38-39 degs typically as indicated on a fairly accurate thermostatic shower. With this I find I need to push it up to an indicated 41-42 degs for a hot shower, and the damned beeper goes off continually. Not sure if this is just innacuracy in it's reading/calibration or what. Maybe best if they pushed the trigger up to 43 degs - yes it may be hot - but it still won't scald you instantly.Probably good for kiddies tho to be sure and safe.
