Cosy and cute!, 18 Nov. 2014

I had read other reviews about the sizing, so bought 24-36 months for my 18 month old. This fits perfectly and it has room to grow into as well. The 18 month size would have fitted, but I suspect it would have quickly become too small. This suit is waterproof and is fleece lined, so it looks and feels cosy and warm. I am very pleased with it. If you are thinking of ordering one, seriously consider the size. I'm glad I opted for a size 6 months ahead of where my child is now. It's very cute too and he seems to like it.

I like this rain suit - Itswaterproof-ness has been well tested by us and we can vouch for a nice dry toddler even after a very rainy day at the farm. With its fleecy lining it is a bit warmer than some suits, but not so padded so as to restrict movement. The hands and feet are drawn in to keep it warm and cosy, and the zip opens all the way down one leg to allow ease of putting it on and off. The design is bright and appealing too, and has little light reflecting strips for wintery evenings.

My issues are:

The suit is quite drawn in at the elasticated waist, which isn't a problem for my little one who is quite slim, but her cousin who has a rounder body shape, found it too tight.

The other issue is that once you have a hat on the head, it is hard to get the hood up, so it may be a little small.

The suit is also not supposed to be washed in a machine, which for a "muddy play" suit which will be getting regularly mucky, is a bit of...

Great little suit. Feels lovely and warm fits really well and the colour and design are great. Havent been able to test its water proofness yet as its not cold or wet enough to try it out in full.
