let Remington take away those bad hair days..., 18 Aug. 2014

Remington AC9096 Silk Dryer for me is a first class hair dryer which dries my hair quickly and without fuss. The Remington AC9096 produces first class results without having to add any more hair products which I usually had to use, now a bit of hair thickening mousse is all I need. Before I had this beauty in my hands I was having to add other hair products to stop my hair being frizzy or even the dreaded static which is nearly impossible to control.

The actual hair-dryer is a six speed 2400 watt which produces great hair drying control and adds a cool shot which is a small flip switch, which is positioned just below the neck of the actual dryer. Add in the turbo shot and this hair dryer truly has every temperature needed for a good looking head of hair. My past hair dryers the cool shot would have to be held continually to receive the cold air but with this model it just takes a quick flip of the switch changes the air from hot to cold immediately with terrific results...

Super fast, 6 speed dryer with ant-frizz components - it's great., 27 July 2014

Certainly a powerful dryer, 2400 watts. Dries my hair in a couple of minutes without snagging leaving a nice glossy, smooth finish. There are 6 heat speeds, plus a turbo setting, and a cold shot if you want to fix curls/waves. Easy to set the speed and heat settings as they're marked by a letter on the handle. I don't have any static in my hair when I've used the dryer and that's essential when your hair is fine like mine. The dryer comes complete with a slim concentrator, nozzle, and diffuser for those with longer, thicker hair. The AC9096 is no heavier than my previous dryer but it's not small. Has a nice, long cord that enables you to move around without too much restriction and isn't over noisy. Leaves my hair soft, eliminates frizz and dries quickly. There's a full instruction booklet in the box is you get stuck. Nice looking dryer and I'm very happy to recommend.

Excellent, but ......, 29 Dec. 2015

This dryer is not too heavy, not too noisy, full speed blasts air out and dries quickly. However, I have problems when using the blow drying nozzle as it falls off easily: this is why I have given four stars although I would have liked to give four and a half.
