Thank goodness I managed to get this shaver from a well known high street chain for only £40. Anymore and I would have been really annoyed. I notice it is now back at £50 for the same thing. In its summer catalogue it was priced at £130. Anyone who paid that must feeling pretty well ripped-off now.
As to the shaver itself, it gives a reasonable shave but, you do have to go over and over the same area many times to achieve that. The shaver appears 'sluggish' and I don't have a particularly heavy beard growth. It's not very good under the jawline I'm afraid. The side trimmer is the flimsiest construction imaginable and the release mechanism is almost guaranteed to fail over time. You have to make sure to push the release button in before closing the trimmer. The pivoting shaver head is a bit of a gimmick too, I think.
This shaver is not as good as my old Remington MS2100 (mains) shaver which has given me years of sterling service.
