Remington Vs. Philips' ever-popular model, 3 Sept. 2014

To test how good the Remington NE3750 is I thought I'd contrast it against the hugely popular

(with 1000+ largely 5* reviews) as I also own that model (and rated it highly myself - 5 stars in fact).

I found that in terms of result the Remington equals that of the Philips, which is to say the results are excellent. The trimmer efficiently and comfortably removes rogue hairs from ears and nostrils with ease and - the most useful feature in both products (for me) - the eyebrow trimmer worked equally as well. The actual engineering looks very similar in both with the cutting head being a very discrete centimeter in length which enables it be inserted easily and safely in lug or nostril. The eyebrow trimmer works on the same principle as the Philips too, namely you slip over the cutting tip one...

A nasal trimmer is a must for those pesky nose hairs!, 10 Sept. 2014

As you get older, it is an annoying truth that you get hairier, and, unfortunately, your nose is no exception! A nasal hair trimmer is the answer! I have been using a Philips Nasal Hair Trimmer for years but decided to give this Remington Nasal Hair Trimmer a go when it came up to be reviewed. A big difference I noticed from the Philips was that the Remington Trimmer is much more robust and provides better grips to hold onto. The Remington's trimmer is similar to the Philips in that it does a good job of cutting back those pesky nose hairs but the Philips offers a cap to protect the trimmer whereas the Remington does not - no cap means the trimmer could get damaged, damage clothes in a suitcase or grubby which is not very hygienic. A minor annoyance of previous Remington Nasal Hair Trimmers is that you cannot stand them up when not in use. Remington have tried to address this problem by adding a hole which enables you to hang up the Nasal Hair Trimmer. This is not ideal...

Great for the Price, 2 Sept. 2014

I have tried many other clipper type of devices in the past. I have found that they rarely work and I usually end up getting a pair of scissors and using them instead. This product by Remington, does seem to work and although its made to feel cheap and very plastic, I am happy to recommend it.

It is made of plastic and comes with the necessary battery and several different cutting heads. The actual head is different from the other pull and cut systems I have tried before. With no pulling, this head shaves off the hairs brilliantly, with tiny shaving type of serrated heads. It is simply brilliant. The other attachment that goes on the top of the unit is a small hair clipper which is designed for trimming sideburns. The only thing you must be careful of is that you clean the serrated head with water. If you do this every time you use it, it does not jam and works like a dream.

It is simply one of the best hair trimmers I have bought, it does its job and is reliable...
