Comfort after cancer surgery, 20 Nov. 2014

I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, when I underwent left mastectomy. Before that a 28K or L, depending on the style and manufacturer was the order of the day, and many manufacturers just do not make bras with deep cups that are not also very wide cups that end up under one's armpits. Afterwards I found no mastectomy bras at all that would come even close to fitting, and most of my old bra styles did not cope well with my jumbo right breast unbalanced with the left. In an attempt to be able to get both a bra and a prosthesis that would fit without serious discomfort, I had a breast reduction in 2011, which has at least meant that, with a recut to shape bean-a-boob prosthesis, I do not look like a freak! More bits of my chest have been excised because of local recurrences of the original cancer, so it is all rather tender. It would be nice to be able to get a bra that would properly support my remaining breast without digging into my other scars, no scrunchy lace...

I found this to be a bit on the small side. If you are considering buying one I would say the sizing is more in line with Marks & Spencer than Fantasies. Having said that I wanted something to wear while gardening and it is good for that. But if I was wanting something to wear all day I would definitely need to go up a cup size.

Worst bra ever, 1 Aug. 2013

1 good point, soft material, that's where it ends, totally unfit for purpose, ordered my size, didn't even fasten on the last hooks, material on the front does not even cover whole area and is cut right in at sides, Digs in at every point and I'm not huge, terrible, large size cup sizes need a bit of thinking about and I would say 0 thought has gone it this one, keep it to under a C cup until you get it right!!!!!!!Yet another bra resigned to the back of the drawer with all the others.
