I have got through two of these, and when they are new, they do a very good job, leaving the feet very smooth and clean, with a polished feeling. There are two sets of plastic brushes, one either side of the central pummice. One brush is for scrubbing and the other for massage, broadly speaking. The pumice in the middle then completes the exfoliation.

I found two problems: first the pumice crumbled and parltly disintegrated fairly quickly - I am guessing it is a compressed powder rather than the natural stone. Second, the plastic base is very difficult to keep clean. It needs a lot of scrubbing on both surfaces, top and bottom, (and in and out of the bristles which is tiresome) as otherwise you get a build up of soapy grey residue which is quite difficult to remove. Higher maintenance than I need.

This is a pity, because in all other respects it does an effective job - it cleans and massages the feet without you having to tense up to get at them, and improves...
