Wow! Couldn't be happier!

I have a very bad lower back with injuries. We were using another cheaper type of carrier, Bjorn, which wasn't bad on me but wasn't very comfortable for my little baby son.

A friend of mine had this and soon after I got this myself when he was around 2 months old.

The back support is impressive. I fell majority of the weight goes into the hip rather than any other part of my body.

The shoulder straps are very comfortable and so well padded. Because most of the weight is in my hip I feel my shoulders are only supporting and not carrying.

I use the straps always in a cross position. It took me a short while to learn how to do it by myself. Easy!

The baby is very well protected and stable. And very close to my chin.

It has a cool strappy (with a button) system at the bottom so not to need an insert for newborns.

It has a hood which can be buttoned up on each shoulder. This gives protection to the baby and also helps him to...

Love this carrier, gives great back support, easy to get baby in and out of once you've mastered the in between the shoulder blade buckle. 10 week old baby seems very comfortable in it. Had a wrap around sling but much prefer this for ease and comfort. The hood is a great bonus, not only useful for rain but for shielding from the sun and when sleeping. Fairly bulky but what you would expect from a carrier this substantial. Only negative is the mesh over the snap up head support is quite rough and irritates the skin on my baby's face, have to put a Muslin between his skin and the carrier but not a huge problem.

I purchased this to carry my four month old after reading the good reviews.First off it's a beautiful sling and very well made. It came packaged well in a box that wasn't too large. However it just didn't fit the way I wanted it to. I intended to hold my son facing outwards as he loves to look around when we go out butbit just wasn't possible. Holding him in the generic position of him facing me was no problem but once I turned him around it became quite strange and he looked like a crab. He would scream when I would try him in it so I just knew it'd never work but I persevered because I wanted to it to work but once I placed him in he just looked so uncomfortable. I don't know if I wasn't doing it right but as I followed the instructions I'm quite sure I was.All in all, it nicely made but it just wasn't right for my son. The refund process was great too.
