Fantastic next carrier to continue safe supported baby wearing, 21 Sept. 2016

I'm really excited to have this baby carrier, it's a great move on from/ addition to the Funky Flamingo wrap, which my baby and I love.My daughter is nearly 8 months old and is very happy and comfortable in this carrier. I love it because she can be facing me or forward facing and still maintain the M shape posture both ways. The seat is very comfortable for her and will be useful to use without the surround when she is older to help support hip carrying.I have used the carrier for a few different occasions now and find it very comfortable. My back feels well supported and her weight is well distributed.My only reason for a 4⭐️ Rather than 5 is there is no head support when my baby falls asleep, which is fine when we're just walking along but I need to support her if I have to bend over/ manoeuvre in any way. I'd be interested in an extension/ insert for this carrier that enabled head support.

Best carrier ever! Ive got the stretchy wrap too but it was to warm in summer, so this one is perfect and can be used comfortably and easilly in all seasons. So easy to put on and place baby inside, who will be very comfortable on the seat pad give.. Which detaches via velco and a zip if you want as a hip seat only! Amazing in its self! My little girl (5 months) was very comfy and enjoyed a chew on the wide shoulder straps as i forgot her dummy! 🙈 Before falling asleep, it doesnt slide down or move around of even get loose like other carriers ive tried.

My only negitive feedback is that the thin star that holds the top section up digs into your boobs (im very large brested mummy!) just looks like i have 4 boobs instead of 2 but its not uncomfortable im just aware of it. The carier does look quite sporty and casual so i cant wait to see what to see if one day different designs and colours will be brought in to make them more unique and personal and less mass produced...

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an unbiased review.

I like this carrier but feel it is slightly too big (long) for me in "baby" mode (with the straps etc attached) but I'm 4 foot 11 so more like I'm on the small side for it which is why for me I can't give 5 stars.

Baby is also a bit on the small side (about 11 pounds) so the shoulder straps need to be a bit tighter than they would if he was bigger so the buckles are a little uncomfortable right now but unlike me, he will grow into it!

I can see the hip-carry being useful in the future, the waist strap is a good fit for me.
