Great value, comfy chair, 8 July 2012

Delivery was quick and I was able to put the chair together myself despite being pregant (did take approx 20 mins but was simple enough and the footstool and main chair base were ready assembled). Its really comfy and the top of the chair is about 1 inch higher than my head which I wanted (so I can rest my head back) - I am 5ft 5. It glides easily with no noise and the break feature is handy. The cushions all come off. The only downside is that whilst it has a number of back angle recline positions, you cannot quickly change position. You have to take the arm cover off then undo a nut and bolt etc (but I still gave it 5 stars as what do you expect for this price). I have found one position I am happy with so don't need to keep changing it. I haven't used it for nursing yet but am using it everyday just to sit in with my feet up and I fall asleep in it doing my relaxation CD. I like the brown colour and think its more practical than the other colours. In my opinion its slighly lighter...

It arrived, I unpacked items and all were there and in perfect condition no damage in transit or rough wood, as other reviewers have said....mine was smooth & fine. The instructions were confusing and used common sense instead. 'The P part (screw ?) does not get embeded in the left arm, if it did there was no idication which way round......still not sure what they were refering to as the large screw fitted in there and did the job without the confusion. Anyway I assembled in around 30 mins and would have been faster if instructions simplified. The lock underneath takes the black 'P' screw referred to earlier and you have to unscrew a small silver screw from the mechanism to allow it to lock down. Put the cushions on and sat in it.....very smooth and soothing, footstool at a great height and smooth too which enables constant rocking motion if required....can sit completely upright or lay virtually right back & still rock or lock. bad bad service, 11 Oct. 2013

Our chair arrived and after two months a runner broke and tipped my 39 weeks pregnant wife onto the floor. When I complained to Little Devils Direct, I was accused by the manager of making slanderous comments about his company and the product and he was not prepared to refund our money. He also claimed he ."doesn't know if we've moved house in the last two months causing damage to the chair". Instead he wanted us to send the product back for review. I sent some photos to him and he eventually admitted that the chair is damaged. He has now sent a new base (with no locking mechanism). This is now a waste of money as my wife will now not trust the chair the sit in with a new born baby.I cannot believe the way we have been treated by this company and I urge people to find another supplier.
