Fantastic for toddlers, 11 May 2014
I bought this for my 20 month old and another for each of her cousins, they love them. It started off with them threading and asking adults to unthread them, but a few weeks on and they are grasping the unthreading too.Fantastic for improving fine motor skills. Just a well made wooden toy, it's put up with a lot from the kids, a quick rinse and looks good as new again.

A simple toy that should be clear about its "real nature", 14 Aug. 2015
As some of the reviewers have mentioned, the picture is misleading and the toy is a plain wooden cheese with a string.I personally do not mind, since I think today's toys are generally made of toxic and harmful materials, but its actual colour and size should be described in the product's description.My daughter liked it so far, but was not that amused.
