The Safetots Extra Wide Hallway Gate is pressure fitted and suitable for doorways, hallways and stair cases. The gate is easy to install and perfect for keeping children away from danger with its push to shut feature, double locking system and lower lock for extra safety. Maximum width with extensions: 152.6cm (sold separately). EN1930:2011. Note: Can be used at the top of the stairs but the gate does feature a trip bar.

Product does the job but only just and with a number of compromises. To bridge a double doorway considerable pressure is needed to hold the gate in place which actually twists the vertical alignment and means you struggle to engage the top and bottom locking points at the same time. Reduce the pressure and the gate aligns BUT the gate is not held securely. Would not recommend or re-buy

Perfect! I needed a wide gate to fit across my hallway so I could open my front door without the dogs getting out. It was just what I was looking for and the extensions meant I could get the best fit.

Very impressed with the sturdiness of these gates, bought two and covered them with hard see through plastic sheets to keep my ferrets away from the stairs and kitchen. They work fantastically.
