We have bought the Safety 1st Simply-Close Gate and we are pleased with it, it is of a good quality for the price paid.But we also needed 3 different size extensions to separate part of a room, when our two granddaughters came to stay that weekend.We ordered what was offered as compatible 7cms, 14cms and 28cms extentions. However, the extensions did not connect to each other and did not fit the gate either. As there was no time to return them, my husband had to shave off the connecting bits to make the gate and extensions work. The plastic is tough and we had to use sharp knives, hacksaws, all sort of tools, to reduce the connecting parts.So clearly the wrong extensions are being sold for the Safety 1st Simply-Close gate by mistake? This needs to be checked by the supplier.

I have a safety first pressure mounted gate, but this extension does not fit at all. Glad it wasn't expensive.

Good - but room for improvement, 10 Jan. 2015

Well made but instructions for assembly and fitting could be improved. Annoyingly, adhesive pads pulled off paint from door frame when gate was removed. A warning that this could happen would have been helpful.
