Essential item for baby's bathtime, 21 Jan. 2012

Having had three children, I think it speaks for itself how much I value this product, having bought one of these seats for each of them as babies. The bath seat is very simple to use and my boys have all been comfortable, safe and secure when seated in this at bathtime.

Babies do need to be stable sitters before moving to this stage of bath seat, otherwise they tend to slump forwards slightly and can find their delicate area crushed against the central column. Once attached to the base of the bath, this is very secure as there are a number of strong suction pads on the base to keep this in position. I think this is an essential item for any parent, especially if bathing more than one child at once. This gives the parent their hands free but the reassurance that their baby is secure in the bath.

The recommended maximum age is up to 12 months, although I found that one of my sons was comfortable in this seat until he was two years old! Larger babies might find the...

Dishonest seller and a disappointing product!, 18 Feb. 2014

The seller (BabySecurity) sent me the wrong item. The bath seat they sent me had a ball in front instead of the sea horse toys as was pictured and described in their Amazon listing. When I contacted them to let them know, they insisted I had ordered the one with the ball and said if I wanted to exchange it for the one with the sea horses, I would have to pay the return shipping. They then followed up with another message asking if giving me a 20% discount would make me keep it. I then proved to them that I had ordered the sea horse version by sending them the link to what I had ordered and pointing out that the seat they sent me was about 10p more expensive than what I had paid for the one I ordered. I told them that instead of a discount, I would like to receive the item I had ordered without paying return shipping. The seller then said that they would cover the return shipping but I would have to pay an additional £6 if I wanted them to send me the seat with the sea horses. There...

I love this bath seat. Have struggled to find a seat with enough space to get baby in and out without scraping his slightly chubby legs on but this one is perfect.
